11.07.1945 – Wasserbillig

Todesursache: mine

The war may be over, but it continues to claim victims. Mr. Math. Rohr was working in the fields. On his way back to Wasserbillig, he went to fetch the horses to pull the fully loaded wagon home and took a shortcut through a meadow. This proved fatal. He stepped on a mine, which exploded, killing him instantly. Mr. Rohr was 42 years old, married, and the father of one child. We extend our deepest condolences to the Rohr family.
