On Wednesday afternoon, while their 27-year-old son, Jacques Christ, was working as a road worker, a violent explosion occurred. A mine had detonated, inflicting such severe head injuries on Jacques Christ that he died during transport to the Ettelbrück hospital. The family has received widespread sympathy. Last Saturday, a funeral service for the young man who tragically lost his life was held, attended by a large number of local residents.
