Neudorf: How often have we pointed out recently that ammunition is not a toy or something for children to experiment on? Despite all the warnings, the most horrific accidents keep happening. Yesterday, three boys named Scheeck, Schaack, and Wies from here found a grenade in the field “above Hasengründchen” and started handling it. Suddenly, the projectile exploded. Eleven-year-old Scheeck was killed instantly, while Schaack was seriously injured. Wies, however, escaped unharmed.
