Esch-Alzette, September 29. A tragic accident occurred here on Thursday, claiming the life of a young person. Around 4 p.m., four young boys, aged 15-16, were handling a projectile they had found in an abandoned German ammunition depot. The projectile exploded, killing the young man, Mengen (MENTGEN), instantly. The other three sustained injuries of varying severity. American soldiers ensured the immediate transport of the injured to the city hospital.
