28.04.1945 – Dirbach
DIRBACH: Later, after the offensive had ended and the troops had already returned home, Nicolas Origer, 38 years old, died. He struck a mine and sustained such severe injuries that he died a few days later, despite all medical care. He was buried in Kaundorf.
22.06.1945 – Mertert
MERTERT: During the clearing of a minefield, a mine exploded, severely injuring three workers who died shortly afterward. Investigations are ongoing. As of March 1, 2024
