BÖWEN: Once again, a young person’s life has been lost due to carelessness. On Monday afternoon, 12-year-old schoolboy Ferdinand Brachmond from Böwen (Wiltz) was playing in a cattle park near his parents’ house. There he discovered a mine. As children often do, the boy fiddled with the dangerous object, which then exploded, killing him instantly.
