ECHERNACH: Mine explodes. A mine unexpectedly exploded, crushing the hand of Nik André, a young worker from Pfaffenthal, who was employed by the bomb disposal unit in Echternach. He also suffered leg injuries. An ambulance transported him to a hospital in Luxembourg.
